Live action drama that adapts Yoshimoto Banana's novel by the same title. Tranquil depiction of the inner life of a woman who craves sleeps to escape the funk of reality. Directed by Wakagi Shingo, who is also a photographer. Screened at the 10th Osaka Asian Film Festival.
Unemployed Terako (Ando Sakura) is having a relationship with Iwanaga (Iura Arata), whose wife is in a vegetable state. Terako's only activity is waiting for Iwanaga to call. Then, her close friend Shiori (Tanimura Mitsuki) commits suicide. Terako is profoundly affected, and falls into a deep sleep like one possessed.
