This is the second feature film by director Kai Sayaka, who has garnered attention in Japan and overseas, and is her first in five years since her debut feature film, Red Snow. It is a Japanese-French co-production.
Shinji (Iura Arata), who grew up in a wealthy family, is suffering from a serious illness that could be fatal and is recuperating in a hospital. Anxious before the surgery, he begs clinical psychologist Mahoro (Mizuhara Kiko) to help him meet "It." The "It" in question is an identical-looking "other self" provided to some privileged people when they became ill.
