This documentary follows 1989 Nobel Peace Prize recipient and supreme head of Tibetan Buddhism, the 14th Dalai Lama. Through this film, he delivers a message of encouragement to Japan which marked the 70th year since the end of World War 2. The camera penetrates areas forbidden to outsiders and captures the 14th Dalai Lama as he is normally. The teachings of Tibetan Buddhism; the presence of its source, the 14th Dalai Lama; and his accomplishments with people post-exile are brought into sharp relief.
