[ Story ]

Drama based on Morisawa Akio's novel by the same title. Themed on the Jomon period 16,500 to 3,000 years ago, a divorcee encounters an ancient culture and embarks on a new chapter in her life. Shot in Aomori Prefecture, the film incorporates mysteriously evocative visuals of the Shirakami-Sanchi World Heritage Site and Jomon period excavation sites.
Momoko (Suzuki Anju) is a 35-year-old divorcee. She's a take-charge kind of person, but her emotional wounds have made her fearful of others. One day, she meets archeologist Kumagoro (Ukaji Takashi).
