[ Story ]

A family drama depicting the discord between a daughter and her father who is involved in the Shishi Kagura (lion dance), a Japanese traditional performance art. Setting the film in his birthplace of Yamanashi Prefecture, Okuaki Yasuo, making his feature-length directorial debut, examines the way of life of people who live there, the whole concept of "regional society" and its connection to traditional culture.
Akane's (Takeda Rina) mother died when she was in elementary school. A rift exists between her and Kyojiro (Osugi Ren), her father who always prioritized the Shishi Kagura and thus was not present at his wife's death. After graduating from high school, Akane left her hometown, but on the occasion of the 13th anniversary since her mother's passing, she returns home after five years.
