A behind-the-scenes look at the creation of a traditional Myanmar music themed CD is provided in this documentary directed by Kawabata Jun, a photographer, composer, and film producer involved in film music and production.
The CD production staff haul their equipment into a tiny, suburban studio a short distance from central Yangon, Myanmar's largest city, and for 40 days proceed with recording. Through footage of the CD production reaching 100 songs, the current state of a transforming Myanmar is revealed.
