This is the follow-up after 35 years to Something Like It, the masterpiece from the early career of Morita Yoshimitsu who died suddenly in 2011. It is directed by Sugiyama Taiichi, who worked many years as an assistant director on Morita's films. Matsuyama Kenichi among other actors affiliated with Morita, including principle cast members from the preceding film, have been assembled.
Hopeless rakugo (comical stories) storyteller, Defunetei Shinden (Matsuyama Kenichi), is ordered by his teacher, Shinkome (Bitou Isao), to find his senior, Shintoto (Ito Katsunobu), who has gone missing. When finally found, Shintoto has completely lost his love of rakugo.
