A coming-of-age comedy that became the last film by the late director Morita Yoshimitsu. It presents a lively depiction of two very different railway fanatics who struggle with love and work, and was partly shot on an extended location shoot around Kyushu. Eighty models of train from twenty railway lines provide a colorful backdrop as the young protagonists find their way in the world.
Real estate company employee Komachi (Matsuyama Kenichi) and steelworks heir Kodama (Eita) are both train aficionados. Their hobby proves useful for their burgeoning careers, but their romantic fortunes do not go as smoothly. Will the awkward Kodama and the indecisive Komachi find the loves of their lives?
