One completed film of the 2014 ndjc: Young Filmmaker Development Project, an Agency of Cultural Affairs venture aimed at discovering and cultivating young filmmakers. The film is directed by Kase Satoshi, whose debut feature, SPINNING KITE, was also praised abroad. Junichi and Mifiyu (Hoshino Mari) are at a family restaurant as the year ends to discuss their divorce. Meanwhile, Ayumi, Mifiyu's daughter awaiting her return home, discovers a tape of her mother as a child pounding mochi (rice cake). Later, Mifiyu returns with Ayumi to her parents' house after many years, and takes part in pounding mochi, but...
