Fifth film in the "This Boy" series directed by Yamamoto Sobi, who made a splash at the age of 21 with her commercial debut film This Boy Can Fight Aliens!. Introduces the animation production software Live2D to create unique visuals that look like illustrations.
Magic Department Crisis Countermeasure Division leader Kashima Chiharu (voice: Ono Yuki) gets a confession of love from a boy named Utsumi Toyohi (voice: Yashiro Taku), who he meets at a bar. Chiharu tries to push Toyohi away so he can devote himself to his work as a wizard.
