Manga artist, Ebisu Yoshikazu, who also appears on television variety programs, makes his leading actor debut in this feature-length yakuza film. It depicts a former yakuza with a deep sense of duty and humanity throwing himself into a new feud. This is the film directing debut of Tokunaga Kiyotaka, who has worked in television.
Genji (Ebisu) was the second-in-command of the Kozato yakuza clan when he killed the leader of the Masaoka clan to avenge his boss. He went to jail and since finishing his prison term has been living a quiet life running a crepe shop. Genji meets up with an old comrade and learns the Masaoka clan was not responsible for their boss' murder which confounds him.
