The first film adaptation in 20 years of "Shiratorireiko de Gozaimasu," the girls manga which captured the minds of a generation in the 80s. Taking the mantle from her predecessor, Matsuyuki Yasuko, real-life daughter of a company president, Kawakita Mayuko, convincingly portrays the overbearing, blue-blooded princess, Shiratori Reiko, with her attractive looks and stylish figure.
Quintessential rich girl, Shiratori Reiko (Kawakita) returns home to Shimoda City in Shizuoka Prefecture with her live-in boyfriend, Tetsuya (Mizuno Masaru). Reiko is expecting a marriage proposal from Tetsuya, but animosity between the Shiratori family and Tetsuya's father builds over a resort development in Shimoda.
