Sequel to Sketches of Kaitan City and The Light Shines Only There and the finale to the Hakodate trilogy based on Sato Yasushi's novel. Director Yamashita Nobuhiro flexes his muscles for this offbeat comedy about the love-hate relationship between an unemployed loser and an eccentric cabaret hostess.
Shiraiwa (Odagiri Joe) has been forsaken by his wife and family and lives off unemployment payments while attending a vocational training school. Shiraiwa's life is joyless, but his friend takes him to a nightclub where he meets a hostess named Satoshi (Aoi Yu), which is usually a guy's name. Shiraiwa finds himself irresistibly drawn to Satoshi's dangerous beauty.
