A drama about kids trying their hand at big band jazz set in the city of Kuwana, Mie Prefecture. Hata Takehiko, the author of the original "Unfair" series makes his directorial debut.
Mami's (Matsumoto Ramu) elementary school has been scheduled for closure due to the shrinking population of the town. Despite this fact, a former jazz player is transferred to the school as a teacher. Mami and her schoolmates decide to play big band jazz for a final tribute to the school, overcoming various difficulties on the way to the prefectural tournament.
