A love story of the seven-year destined romance of a young man and woman framed within the motif of "meals". Based on Seo Maiko's identically titled novel, it is written and directed by Ichii Masahide, the former comedian who received high praise for Naked of Defenses and Blindly in Love.
Hayama Ryota (Nakajima Yuto) and Kamimura Koharu (Araki Yuko) first begin to date after participating in a "rice sack race" during the school athletic festival. Though polar opposites of one another, the two share meals together in good times and bad. Little by little, love begins to bloom.
