The final full-length animation in a trilogy adapting NISHIOISHIN's teen mystery novel. Production studio, SHAFT, which worked on the TV version aired in 2009, is handling the animation. The staff includes chief director Shinbou Akiyuki and director Oishi Tatsuya.
Araragi Koyomi (voice: Kamiya Hiroshi) has vanquished three formidable foes and recovered Kiss-shot's (voice: Sakamoto Maaya) four limbs. Though he thought he could return to being a normal human, Koyomi learns of the terrible nature of vampires when he once again pays Kiss-shot a visit.
