Hashizume Isao, Yoshiyuki Kazuko, Nakajima Tomoko, and Tsumabuki Satoshi, the cast who portrayed a different family in Yamada Yoji's Tokyo Family, once again return for this follow-up to his comedy, What a Wonderful Family!. After narrowly avoiding the specter of divorce, another big problem occurs in the Hirata household.
A few years after Shuzo (Hashizume) and Tomiko (Yoshiyuki) almost divorce, the family are concerned about reckless driving by seniors and hatch a plan to take away Shuzo's driver's license. But on the day of the family meeting, Shuzo's friend takes his final breath while staying over at the Hirata home.
