Two sisters live with their family. The elder is reserved; the younger lively. Yet, the former is first engaged and all goes well until the young man disappears. When found, it appears he has a secret and the girl goes with him to spend a week-end at a hot-spring resort. She finds that he feels his mother's liasion with another man was such that he cannot bear to make the girl he loves a member of his family. By now, however, they have con- summated their love, a child is on the way, and the daughter is happy that he has married her, that she knows the only secret that could ever come between them, and that she will bear his child.
