[ Story ]

On board the ship in which Goro lnada a pro-boxer is returning to Japan he falls in love with Ayame, a popular singer. But their happiness is of short durations as the vessel is wrecked.
When lnada awakens from the nightmare of shipwreck, he finds himself on a desolate island where in his wandering he eventually meets Ayame but whom he finds has already given herself to the embraces of Takejima, her manager. Tezuka, a rival, who was also on the ill-fated ship, is also among the survivors.
lnada lives alone in a cave into which Tezuka steals to injure him so that he can possess Ayame.
Eventually the group is rescued, but lnada is left behind.
A few years pass and Ayame as a singer and Tezuka as a champion boxer have found fame and fortune in Japan.
One day an offer is brought to them from an obscure, grey-haired plutocrat named "Goro Sakata" who impresses Ayame.
After their meeting strange events occur, which remind them of the island.
And one day Tezuka is mysteriously run over by a car. Suddenly Takejima becomes aware of Sakata's identity and tells Ayame. But she is blinded by love of money, and does not believe him.
Yet when she is invited to Sakata's villa, she finds a cavern just like the one on the island.
And the voice of Sakata announces:
"Ayame! I am lnada, still waiting my revenge for the many agonies, I suffered."
She escapes from the cavern, but Takejima, mad with jealousy, awaits her, and in the fight which ensues they kill each other.
The revenge lnada has awaited has turned out even more bitter than he desired.
