In the meantime, Keiko, still in love with Joji, asks Noboru to release her from their engagement, to which he reluctantly agrees. When the tea-room "Stranger" controlled by the Otsu gang is raided by members of the Highlight Gang, Noboru tell s his father not to be drawn into a gang war.
