[ Story ]

Sadao, is saved from death at the hands of Goro, a killer belonging to a rival gang by Joji just released from prison who has resolved to turn over a new leaf. He has returned, however, because of Keiko, his sweetheart, who he now finds is engaged to Noboru, a detective and son of Jinsaku, boss of the Otsu gang.
That night at the night club, headquarters of the Highlight Group - which Noboru is investigating, Majima meets Joji who knows of his attempt to kill Jinsaku, and resolves to kill him.
Jeana, mistress of Goro, is captivated by Joji, and Goro mad with jealousy decides to do away with his rival. In the meantime, Keiko, still in love with Joji, asks Noboru to release her from their engagement, to which he reluctantly agrees. When the tea-room "Stranger" controlled by the Otsu gang is raided by members of the Highlight Gang, Noboru tell s his father not to be drawn into a gang war. Jinsaku, however, is not to be mollified. Meanwhile the police arrest members of the Highlight gang and Majima orders Goro to kill Noboru and Joji.
After rescuing Noboru from danger, the two gangs stage a battle at a pier where Goro shoots Jeana to death after she saves Joji from his gun. The High-light gang is rounded up by the police led by Noboru, and Joji and Keiko, are left gazing at each other in the early light of a new dawn.
