[ Story ]
Seijiro (Kobayashi Akira) is not the type of man to become a gangster, yet he joined the gang. The reason was that he believed that the modern yakuza were still animated by feelings for a brotherhood code, and there was still some chivalry left in their world. But he realized the viciousness of the modern gangster when the gang sent him to prison on a murder rap.
Now free, he determines to obtain revenge, and to find out the real murderer. But the gang finds out and realizing that he knows too much and that they themselves have taught him to be ruthless, decide that he must be put out of the way.
They try again to frame him but in the meantime the real murderer, the brother of the gang boss is known. Choko (Sawa Tamaki), sweetheart of a friend of Seijiro, loses her life because she discovered it the truth.
His friend, Yagiri (Takahashi Hideki), takes Seijiro's place in the show-down duel that is to take place, but is killed. Furious, Seijiro takes over, and finally rids the town of the entire gang.
