The first-ever feature-length animation in the globally popular "Godzilla" franchise. Set in a future in which Godzilla has continued to dominate the Earth for 20,000 years, it depicts the fate of humanity standing off against the "King of Monsters".
At the end of a half-century long war against monsters, humanity finally leaves Earth and departs for planet "e" of the Tau star system in the Cetus constellation. However, planet "e" does not have a habitable environment for human life. Haruo (voice: Miyano Mamoru) is a central figure of an Earth Repatriation Faction who board an emigrant ship and decide to take the perilously long hyperspace journey back to Earth.
