[ Story ]
The television anime series "Free!", which depicted the interplay of teenage male swimmers' intense passions and sensitive spirits, hits the big screen in this first "Timeless Medley" film. Rearranging the story of the series, the film also incorporates new elements.
Nanase Haruka (voice: Shimazaki Nobunaga) has a special affection for the water. Due to certain circumstances, he has had to stop swimming, but hopes for the freedom to do as he wants. After he encounters Makoto (voice: Suzuki Tatsuhisa) who has stood by his side anytime, Nagisa (voice: Yonaga Tsubasa), a younger student, and Rei (voice: Hirakawa Daisuke) who reminds him of the importance of friends, Haruka once again begins swimming.
