Tohoku Zunko (voice: Sato Satomi) has the ability to turn ordinary rice cakes into yummy "zunda" rice cakes wrapped in sweet soybean paste, and she blissfully enjoys eating zunda rice cakes with her friends. Meanwhile, Natto Factory chief Oedo Chanko (voice: Sashide Maria) is afraid that she won't have enough soybeans to make natto, which uses the same soybean ingredients as zunda mochi.
