Animation produced through Anime Tamago 2016, the Agency for Cultural Affairs' Young Animator Training Project. Produced by Tezuka Productions, the studio behind Gusko budori no denki.
The temple where Aiko (voice: Akaneya Himika) lives has a strange sliding door that is only half painted. Aiko turns seventeen with an interest in painting but otherwise lacking ambition for her future. A mysterious man named Soji (voice: Kako Rion) suddenly shows up and declares "kacchikene!" using the dialect spoken in Tokyo during the Edo period.
