[ Story ]
A drama which took actor, Mukai Osamu, seven years to plan and is based on the memoirs of his grandmother which Mukai himself self-published. At the helm is Fukagawa Yoshihiro, who has brought other real life stories to the screen such as Dear My Love among others.
81-year-old Yoshimura Tomoko (Nogiwa Yoko) had been keeping notes of the memories with her husband. However, she is stricken by an unexpected illness and it falls on her grandchild, Osamu (Narita Ishin), to gather her notes together. The notes weave a tale of Tomoko (Ono Machiko) and her husband Goro (Mukai) living through the hardships during and after the war.
