Film commemorating the twentieth anniversary of the Pokémon TV anime series based on the game beloved around the world.
It's the tenth birthday for Satoshi (voice: Matsumoto Rika), a boy living in Pallet Town, which means he is now eligible to become a Pokémon Trainer. He dreams of becoming the world's top Pokémon Master and is supposed to get his Pokémon from Professor Oak's laboratory, but he completely oversleeps. The only Pokémon left for Satoshi is Pikachu (voice: Otani Ikue), who seems to be wary of humans.
