Film adaptation of author Yonezawa Honobu's same-titled mystery directed by Asato Mari of Bilocation and Fatal Frame. Stars Yamazaki Kento of One Week Friends and Hirose Alice of Shinjuku Swan.
Oreki Hotaro (Yamazaki) joins the Classics Club at school on his sister's orders just before the club is to be disbanded. Then, an avidly curious girl named Chitanda Eru (Hirose) joins the club. One day Eru asks him to solve a mysterious incident that happened 33 years ago.
