2 Duo, Perfect Couple director Suwa Nobuhiro welcomes The 400 Blows star Jean-Pierre Leaud to this Japanese-French co-production.
Jean (Leaud) is an aging actor troubled by his inability to feign death. Haunted by the past, he visits an old estate in order to meet the woman he once loved. She appears to him as if a mirage, as beautiful as she always was. Then he begins shooting a film at the request of children who have snuck into the estate. Before long, Jean confronts the memories of his past which awakens the forgotten emotions within him.
