Commercial film debut from Hamaguchi Ryusuke, whose previous work Happy Hour won the Best Actress award at the 68th Locarno International Film Festival. Brings a sensitive touch to depicting the emotions of a woman vacillating between two men with the same face.
Salaryman Ryohei (Higashide Masahiro) falls in love with Asako (Karata Erika), who works at a cafe. Although Asako is confounded by the straight-laced Ryohei, she finds herself drawn to him. They get to know each other better, but Asako has a secret she can't share with him. His face is exactly the same as her ex-boyfriend Baku (Higashide), who she fell for hard in a fateful romance.
