Hamaguchi Ryusuke, who drew attention in Cannes and other film festivals with Drive My Car, directs this short film anthology. Three stories are woven around the theme of "coincidence". It won the Silver Bear Award at the 71st Berlin International Film Festival.
While returning from a photo shoot, model Meiko (Furukawa Kotone) shares a taxi with her good friend Tsugumi (Hyunri) and listens to her story about a guy (Nakajima Ayumu) she's met recently who's caught her interest. After Tsugumi is dropped off first, Meiko tells the driver to head to a certain destination. (The first chapter, "Magic (or Something Less Assuring)")
