This is the theatrical animated film continuing the story of "Mobile Suit Gundam UC" which began as an OVA in 2010 and was also turned in to a television series.
It is Universal Century 0097. The conflict known as the "Laplace Incident" languished with the downfall of the Sleeves, Neo Zeon's remnant forces. The two Unicorn Gundams at the center of the final battle displayed abilities beyond human intellect and therefore were regarded as dangerous. They were both sealed away, but the third Unicorn Gundam which had vanished without a trace reappears in the Earth Sphere. The fight over this Gundam, the "Phenex", begins.
