Live-action adaptation of the flip book manga by comedian Tekken, who serves as art director on the project. In the film, Tekken presents new flipbook manga. Heartwarming story about a young man who keeps encountering setbacks but is saved by his ties with his family.
Takuya (Okada Masaki) used to be a promising track-and-field athlete but gives up competing because of an injury. He goes to college in Tokyo, leaving behind his father (Tokito Saburo) and mother (Zaizen Naomi), who run an apple orchard. Soon he becomes engrossed in playing in a band. He and his buddies want to go professional.
