Ramen Samurai's Segi Naoki helms this coming-of-age drama about a female college student majoring in science who struggles with love and sake brewing in Higashi Hiroshima's Saijo, one of Japan's top three sake brewery locales. Features the late Osugi Ren, who starred in HANA-BI, Season of Infidelity and Outrage Coda.
Shiori (Kawaei Rina) studies at an agricultural university in Tokyo and aspires to be a sommelier, but against her wishes she goes to apprentice at a sake brewery in Saijo. Nonetheless, she gains a sense of satisfaction through the people she meets and brewing sake. Then, the venerable brewery's survival comes under threat.
