[ Story ]
Japan-Russia co-production based on historical events during the Japanese-Russo War. The heroine is played by Abe Junko, who grabbed the spotlight for her performance in Still the Water. Young Russian actor Rodion Galyuchenko plays the Russian Army lieutenant who falls in love with the heroine.
The story takes place at a prison camp for Russian soldiers in Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture. Yui (Abe) is a nurse who attends to a Russian lieutenant named Sorokin (Galyuchenko). Her younger brother died in the war and she carries deep resentment against the Russian soldier, but she and Sorokin gradually fall in love.
