Feature-film debut about the bizarre relationships among a group of kids from director Nagahisa Makoto, who grabbed the spotlight with his short film And So We Put Goldfish in the Pool. Acclaimed with awards at the 35th Sundance Film Festival and the 69th Berlin International Film Festival.
Four orphaned 13-year-olds who are unable to cry meet at a crematorium and decide to form the band LITTLE ZOMBIES to restore their emotional health. The band becomes a social phenomenon, and the foursome find themselves at the mercy of a surprising destiny.
