[ Story ]

Nakae Yuji of Nabbie's Love directs this documentary about people from Futaba Town in Fukushima Prefecture and the traditional 'bon-uta' dance that they have protected. Futaba Town was devastated by the Great East Japan Disaster, and in 2015 the townspeople were distressed over the threat to the 'bon-uta' continued existence. However, they learn that the bon dance was cherished as the Fukushima Ondo by Japanese Americans who emigrated from Fukushima to Hawaii a century ago, and it continues to be performed with enthusiasm to this day. The Futaba townspeople head to Maui in Hawaii to see the dance being performed.
