Documentary produced, directed, shot and edited by freelance video director Kawaguchi Tsutomu. Actor-cum-singer Mikami Kan provides the theme song.
Oi Town in the Oi District of Fukui Prefecture has just 8,700 residents and is surrounded by the ocean and mountains. Townspeople had come to terms with the Oi Nuclear Power Plant that was built on their land. However, the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant accident happens in 2011, and the town is thrust into the national spotlight the following year when the Oi plant is slated to restart.
