[ Story ]
The mindset of one of Japan's prominent artists, Okamoto Taro, on his two journeys to Okinawa is closely examined in this documentary.
Artist Okamoto Taro arrives on Okinawa seeking the answer to the questions: "What is a Japanese person?" and "What am I?" He once said, "Okinawa is one of the great loves of my life." Through his journeys in 1959 and 1966, Okamoto melds with the soul of Okinawa and re-encounters himself. Okamoto Taro's Okinawa still has something to offer and is somehow still connected to us today.
