The romance between a young firefighter and a female university student is depicted in this coming-of-age love story. Yuasa Masaaki, who won the Cristal for Best Animated Feature at the 41st Annecy International Animation Film Festival for Lu Over the Wall directs this original feature animation.
Avid surfer Hinako (voice: Kawaei Rina) is a university student who has fallen for firefighter Minato (voice: Katayose Ryota) after making his acquaintance through a fire. However, Minato loses his life while out on the sea and the shock causes Hinako to stay away from the ocean she loved. But when she hums a song which reminds her of Minato, he emerges from out of the water.
