Eighth film helmed by Mitani Koki, who has generated numerous hits as a screenwriter and stage director. Original story about a prime minister who is fiercely despised by the populace and suffers from amnesia.
Prime Minister Kuroda (Nakai Kiichi) collapses after being hit by a rock during a speech. He regains consciousness at the hospital but can't remember who he is and finds himself in desperate straights in the face of blackmail by a journalist and an attack from a lover he doesn't recognize. In the midst of it all, the President of the United States arrives in Japan.
