This love story is based on the 2016 novel released by author Hirano Keiichiro, a recipient of the French Ordre des Arts et des Lettres Chevalier. It directed by Nishitani Hiroshi who has a reputation for solid and dynamic direction.
Classical guitarist Makino Satoshi (Fukuyama Masaharu) meets a reporter working for a news agency in Paris, Komine Yoko (Ishida Yuriko), after his performance. From the very first glance there was a strong mutual attraction, and though he knew she was engaged, Satoshi professes his love for her. However, as they each confront realities entrapping them an unforeseen obstacle arises.
