[ Story ]
Derived from the "Stanford Prison Experiment", this closed room thriller depicts the violent game between 12 men and women who are the test subjects of a public experiment. Writer and director Watanabe Kensaku, the screenwriter of The Great Passage, studied under director Suzuki Seijun.
Mari (Hotta Mayu) and 11 other test subjects participate in a public experiment by a popular VTuver. The subjects are grouped into prisoners and jailers inside a large 4 meter square cage placed in a laboratory. For seven days they are to lead a prison life. Mari is assigned the role of jailer, but the experiment gradually intensifies.
