Drama portraying the bond between parent and child, produced as a Japan-Kazakhstan international co-production shot entirely in Kazakhstan. Starring Samal Yeslyamova, who won the Best Actress Award at 2018 Cannes Film Festival, and Moriyama Mirai.
Olzhas (Madi Minaidarov) is a boy who lives in a small house on the expansive steppes. His horse-breeder father goes to the market but doesn't return, and his mother Aigul (Yeslyamova) is called by the police. Then, a man named Kairat (Moriyama) pays them a visit at home.
