Feature film animation adaptation of Akutagawa Prize-winner Tanabe Seiko's renowned story, which has also been turned into a live-action film. Helmed by Tamura Kotaro, who worked as assistant director on Wolf Children and directed the TV anime series "Noragami".
Josee (Kiyohara Kaya) has been in a wheelchair since childhood and randomly gets a helping hand from university student Tsuneo (Nakagawa Taishi). Josee's grandmother Chizu (Matsutera Chiemi) offers him a job helping out Josee, and the two argue but gradually fall in love.
