Onoda Sakamichi (Nagase Ren) is a high school student without friends or athletic prowess. His classmate Imaizumi Shunsuke (Ito Kentaro) challenges him to a bicycle race after seeing him cycle up a hill. Having discovered the joys of cycling, Sakamichi joins the bicycle racing team and competes for a spot at the Inter-High school competition.
