This documentary focuses on the director of the animated film In This Corner of the World, Katabuchi Sunao. Over the course of three years, the camera closely covered Katabuchi 100 times and recorded the director's creative process.
Upon the release of In This Corner of the World, Katabuchi spent many days greeting audiences at theaters throughout the country and interacting with fans who came to the theaters, all while "In This Corner (and Other Corners) of the World" was in production. The documentary reveals Katabuchi's way of life that values and attends to each and every person living in their own "corner".
