Drama depicting a "tale of death" for young adults nine years after the Great Tohoku Earthquake. Feature film debut by Tsuboi Takuo, who has worked on films by Shinozaki Makoto and Kurosawa Kiyoshi.
Midori (Gomi Michiko), who previously predicted the tsunami and earthquake when she belonged to a new-religion cult, studies at a university where three incidents occur: The secret maneuverings of a group that incites young people to warfare, the slaughter of cats, and the solitary death of a student. Rebellious Toko (Handa Miki) suspects that Okita (Aoki Yuzu) in her department at school is the criminal behind the cat killings.
