The comic of the same name which has surpassed over 1.9 million total copies published is adapted to live-action by Mars director Yakumo Saiji. The unusual love story depicts a "love triangle" between only two people which began with a lie.
Minato (Mori Nana), a plain university student who's never had a boyfriend, lives with her younger brother-in-law Toru (Matsumura Hokuto), a good-looking Casanova. One day, at the request of a friend, Minato goes out into the city wearing a high school uniform in gaudy "Kogal" makeup and ends up accidentally running into Toru. Minato claims she is someone named Mina and believing her lie, Toru begins aggressively hitting on her.
