[ Story ]
Hayami Moët makes her directorial debut with a story that draws on her personal experiences. The film depicts life in a mountain hamlet inhabited entirely by women, where men are prohibited. Won the JAPAN CUTS award at the 2018 Osaka Asian Film Festival.
Deep in the mountains there is a village that is off-limits to men. Only the village head goes down the mountain, and she protects the other women including her 28-year-old daughter Kagu (Hirota Tomona) and Kagu's 14-year-old daughter Kushina (Ikumi Kader). One day, anthropologist Kazuno (Inamoto Yayoi) and her male assistant Harada (Onuma Suguru) figure out the location of the village.
